To strike a balance between hustling and flowing with the Spirit, we need to both work hard and be patient and trust that He will open the right doors at the right time. Psalm 37:7 encourages us, “Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him.” As we pursue financial growth, we need to be receptive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. He will provide divine insights, promptings, and redirection when necessary. Cultivate a sensitivity to His voice and being willing to adjust our plans according to His guidance.
The Bible encourages hard work and diligence in various verses. Proverbs 12:11 reminds us, “Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies have no sense.” This encourages us to work hard, manage our resources wisely, and be good stewards of what God has entrusted to us. While working hard is commendable, it is equally important to align our aspirations with God’s will for our lives. We must remember that our goals should not be solely driven by personal ambition, but by the calling and purpose God has placed upon us. Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
As Christian fathers, our ultimate purpose extends far beyond financial success. Using our resources and opportunities to make a positive impact within our family, community, and the Kingdom of God. Let your hustle be purpose-driven, and let the flow of the Holy Spirit bring divine wisdom and direction into your life. Remember, Christian fathers, that God desires to bless us and use us as conduits of His love and generosity. By balancing our hard work with the flow of the Holy Spirit, we can achieve financial success while fulfilling our calling to make a positive impact on others.
